NATIONAL CENTER ON WORKFORCE DISABILITY FOR ADULTS (NCWD-A) IS OPEN

The National Center on Workforce and Disability for Adults (NCWD-A), located at the Institute for Community Inclusion, operated under a grant from the U. S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy, is now available to One-Stop Career Centers, State and Local Workforce Investments Boards, other agencies, and employers. The NCWD-A offers technical assistance on how to deliver workforce development services and other employment-related services to adults with disabilities. SOCIAL SECURITY LAUNCHES NEW WEB PAGE FOR ASIAN AMERICANS AND PACIFIC ISLANDERS.
Recognizing the need for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to access timely, accurate information about Social Security, the Social Security Administration (SSA) has launched a new web page -- Social Security Online for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The site provides basic Social Security program information on retirement, survivors, disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits.

The site provides basic Social Security program information on retirement, survivors, disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits.



WEBSITE FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND GROUPS
The Social Security Administration (SSA) has launched new web site designed especially for members of national organizations and groups. "Information for National Organizations and Groups" provides easy access to Social Security information, such as forms, facts and figures, tailored to meet the needs of organizations and those they serve. You can find articles to use in newsletters and other publications, as well as information on getting a Social Security representative to speak at or participate in your organization's events.
