A University Center for
Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD)
The Oklahoma Family Support Policy Council is comprised of individuals with disabilities, family members, and professionals committed to working in partnership to achieve a comprehensive statewide system of family support and support for adults with disabilities. Individuals with disabilities and family members, which include foster and adoptive families, families from rural and urban areas, and representatives of the cultural and ethnic communities of Oklahoma, predominate on the Council. The Council developed the Oklahoma Individual and Family Support Principles and continues to be the primary resource for project collaboration across multiple service systems. The Council meets on the third Friday of each month.
The
Center for Learning and Leadership operates this OUHSC Web Site.
