Welcome to the Department of Surgery at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Our department has a history rich in surgical tradition that is the cornerstone of our future. This site provides information for patients, referring physicians, prospective residents and fellows, and medical students.

The core purpose of the OUHSC Department of Surgery is to improve the surgical care of patients in Oklahoma. This is accomplished by providing state of the art care to our patients, providing the finest quality surgical education to our fellows, residents, and students, improving the skills and knowledge of our surgical colleagues through continuing education programs, and expanding surgical knowledge through our clinical and basic science research programs. The faculty and staff of the Department of Surgery look forward to assisting you in any way possible.
