The Institute for Breast Health is a comprehensive breast care center, providing a multidisciplinary approach to both diagnosis and management in breast disease including screening mammography, diagnostic imaging, stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound guided biopsy, surgical biopsy, surgical pathology, surgery, and in conjunction with plastic surgery, reconstruction options.

The Institute for Breast Health unites the faculty from many disciplines to provide training to the general surgery residents as they care for the cancer patients. Dr. William C. Dooley, M.D., surgical oncologist, is the G. Rainey Williams Professor of Surgical Breast Oncology at the OU Institute for Breast Health, and the Director of the Division of Surgical Oncology within the Department of Surgery.
