Narong Kulvatunyou, M.D.

Narong Kulvatunyou, M.D. has joined the Department of Surgery as an Assistant Professor in trauma and critical care; He is Board Certified in General Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Dr.Kulvatunyou graduated from Berry College in Georgia and received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He completed his general surgery residency at New York Methodist-Cornell Hospital. He completed two fellowships, one in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Massachusetts and a research fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He served on the faculty of the University of Minnesota, and Mahidol University in Bangkok before joining our staff in September 2005.
