The PLUS loan program is a piece of the federal loan program and is available to credit-worthy parents who would like to borrow funds on behalf of their dependant children who are attending a degree-seeking program on an at least half-time basis. Parents of independent children or who have children in graduate or professional program are not eligible for PLUS loans. Parents, because you have decided to apply for a PLUS loan, we have set up the following page to make it easy for you to research the lender you would like to use and apply for the loan once you have made your choice. Because the PLUS loan program is a federal program, all loans are subject to the same interest rate, but carefully research repayment terms as lenders will have differing rebates and incentives.
