The Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation strives to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care that is of the highest quality to all citizens of Oklahoma regardless of the ability to pay. Our mission is to provide this in an environment that includes patient care, teaching and research. We value compassion, quality, integrity, teamwork, clinical research and education.

We currently have orthopedic surgeons specializing in: adult reconstruction, hand, shoulder and upper extremity, musculoskeletal oncology, pediatrics, spine, sports medicine and traumatology. This diverse collection of orthopedic surgeons and experience creates an environment optimal for both the care of our patients and the training of our residents.

We expect our residents to be committed to orthopedic scholarship, committed to our patients, committed to each other, and dedicated to making the most of their residency years. In return I pledge to support the residents in their pursuit of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I encourage potential applicants to write or call for any questions you may have. Whatever program you get into, I wish you the best for your future.

Sincerely,

David C. Teague, M.D.
