Dr. Shobeiri is Oklahoma’s first fellowship trained physician in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery/UROGYN. He created a new section within the department of Ob/Gyn with a clinical operation that has grown to three fellowship trained physician, four nurses and support staff. In addition, he has created the Women’s Pelvic & Bladder Health brand at the OU Physicians and The Pelvic Floor Research Laboratory at OU. He has brought many multi-center clinical trials to OU, as well as other funding for original research. He created a syllabus and an educational course for OKC and Tulsa residents.
