Your training will take place in the Department of Neurology at the University of Oklahoma, which is an accredited neurology program. The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship is an accredited fellowship program of one year duration. Applicants must forward all of the following information to the Program Director for consideration:

A qualifying candidate will be one who has completed an accredited residency training in Neurology, Child Neurology, Psychiatry or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The program will cover the broad area of clinical neurophysiology with opportunity for more extensive experience in EEG and epilepsy.

Training will include EEG, video EEG monitoring, EMG and nerve conduction studies, evoked potential tests, electrodiagnostic assessment of movement disorders and treatment with Botox, polysomnography, autonomic testing, and intraoperative monitoring. In addition, the fellow will also have the opportunity to observe and learn electrocorticography, and cortical mapping of motor and sensory functions by direct cortical stimulation. The fellow is expected to participate and complete a research project as well.
