Visitors to Oklahoma City will find it is a city on the move and that it offers many opportunities for cultural enrichment, recreation, and sports. Several repertory stage companies provide a variety of drama, comedy and musical stage presentations. Oklahoma City is home to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra. The city is also well known for its museums, including the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, its nationally known zoo, and multiple area and entertainment events (like the State Fair). |

The city offers a climate in which outdoor sports can be enjoyed most of the year, with ready access to hiking, cycling, lakes, public golf courses, and tennis courts. Additionally, Remington Park provides the finest in thoroughbred and quarter horse racing. Oklahoma City is also known for lower than average cost of living expenses, with the cost of housing the lowest in the Nation. Restaurants, sports bars, and entertainment sports are plentiful.

| Air travel to Oklahoma City is through Will Rogers World Airport, which is served by seven major airlines. The bus station is approximately one mile from the Health Sciences Center campus. The metro area is quite spread out, making an automobile almost mandatory, but navigation throughout the city is usually straightforward and there are several taxi companies and an inner city bus service (daytime hours) that serves Oklahoma City. It is also the conjunction of several interstate highways, including I-40, I-35, I-235, I-240, and I-44. |
