RADIATION-MEASURING EQUIPMENT includes calibrated condenser R-meters, roentgen rate meters and thermoluminescent dosimetry systems. Well scintillation counters with multichannel analyzers are also available. These instruments commonly are used by the medical physicists to calibrate or determine equipment performance as well as for research projects.

Graduate students have access to numerous departmental computer systems as well as to the computer facilities of the University.These systems are used extensively for research, particularly for Monte Carlo simulation, physiologic modeling and statistical analysis.
