The Department of Radiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), offers Master’s and Doctorate. It is the goal of the program and its students to complete the M.S. in 2 years, and the Ph.D. within 3 years beyond that required for the masters. Medical Physicists is not just for Physicists, but our program emphasizes a strong component of the study of structure and matter as well as the use of technology in medicine. The faculty consist of six full-time Ph.Ds (and growing) who perform research and clinical function whether it is in Computational Medical Imaging, Radiation Therapy, and/or Radiation Diagnostics. Prior research experience is helpful, but not necessary.
