One of the University's responsibilities to the local community is to educate youths with respect to science and potential career opportunities. If these students are exposed to ideas and informed of the fruitful careers to be found in biotechnology, they will be stimulated to explore a potential career in science at an earlier age.

Mission Statement

The three goals of this WWW site are:

1 to define what is biotechnology

2 to elaborate on why biotechnology is important to the world and to the individual

3 to explain how to pursue this potential career path
