COS provides our faculty and researchers access to an international network of nearly half a million peers at 700 universities and R&D institutions and corporations in more than 125 countries. COS' dynamic and leading-edge technologies help our scientists and scholars find funding, promote their research, and collaborate with colleagues in a customized Web community.

By adding your profile to COS Expertise and using COS Quick Form for PHS 398 Biographical Sketch for NIH, you have the ability to automatically generate a completed biosketch form. Using your up-to-date profile in COS Expertise, the information can be electronically merged from your profile into the approved NIH form quickly and easily, without re-keying or copying and pasting. You can then finalize, save and print it using standard word processing commands.

Another service COS provides is access to COS Funding Opportunities, the largest and most comprehensive research funding database on the Web. Updated daily, COS Funding Opportunities includes information for more than 20,000 multidisciplinary and international award opportunities from public and private funding sources. This provides a valuable resource for any individual searching for funding, from a graduate student to a M.D. or a Ph.D.

Another key service is COS Funding Alert, a customized email service that alerts individual researchers weekly to new and updated funding opportunities that match their research interests and eligibility. Importantly, these tools facilitate the acquisition of research money to OUHSC.
