| With
the help from the National
Science Foundation, the Laser Mass Facility has obtained a Voyager
Elite BioSpectrometery Research Station equipped with
Delayed Extraction technology. This is a Matrix Assisted Laser
Desorption/Ionizing Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer (MALDI-TOF
MS). This instrument can acquire accurate mass values for many
compounds including organic compounds, polymers, proteins and
peptides and nucleic acids. At this time we are analyzing
samples for a nominal fee (see below). Please feel free to
contact us to arrange to have your sample analyzed in a timely
fashion.
MALDI-TOF
Technology:
Our facility offers Electro Spray
Ionization-TOF (ESI-TOF) analysis to researchers. We have
installed a Perspective Biosystems Mariner Biospectrometry
Workstation.
